To celebrate Call of Duty's 20th anniversary, Activision has partnered with Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux (PAMP) to produce a limited edition series of gold and silver bars.

Fresh off the bat of Call of Duty's Modern Warfare 3 title playing homage to its 20-year history, PAMP will be engraving the series' flagship captain onto 5,000 limited edition golden plates.

But there's a catch. A $450 catch.

Call of Duty is selling off $450 Limited Edition gold bars

The collaboration between Call of Duty and PAMP will see 5,000 5G Gold pieces be made and a further 15,000 1oz Silver pieces be released, all of which come with serial numbers to track and a mint-in-condition casing.

The collectable pieces will be priced at $449 for the Gold bars and $109 for the silver, taking the entire range to roughly $3,900,000.

Each commemorative piece will also come with a gold/silver case, and will also unlock exclusive in-game rewards for both MW3 and Warzone, with a Weapon Charm of the respective purchased bar being available for one's Activision account.

The entire range will be going on sale on February 15, and PAMP expects the bars to sell out quickly, akin to its recent Lady Fortune product line.

In a press statement, Chris Carkner, Global Head of Minting at PAMP, said, "Developing a Call of Duty collection with our signature, industry-trusted techniques and know-how allowed us to focus on innovative ways to bring our pioneering brand to a new audience. Bridging physical and digital collectables is an exciting first in the brand's history and speaks to our forward-thinking credentials."

It's not the only rather pricey Call of Duty collectable to be released in the last few months either, as there were a few bucks splashed on a limited edition Ray Gun replica range late in 2023.
