Twitch streamer "Zoil" has been unbanned after being suspended from the platform after accidentally livestreaming an explicit TikTok video.

Twitch has been cracking down hard on making sure its content is safe for everyone, whether that's being more strict with its bans against streamers or even a change in its policies. For example, recently Rebecca "Minx" received a week-long platform for using a "derogatory slur" and another was immediately banned after shaving his genitals live on stream.

However, there have been a few occasions when Twitch has been accused of being too harsh when it comes to its reasons behind banning certain streamers. One of which was Zoil who received a ban from the platform for including "accidental nudity or explicit sex content" during a stream. Although, Zoil's fans claim it was unfair and unnecessary.

Why Was Zoil Banned From Twitch?

Zoil was doing a livestream on February 12, when he was reacting to a TikTok video. The clip started off perfectly family-friendly when it suddenly switched to a video of someone being filmed from behind riding a motorbike completely naked. An unsuspecting Zoil quickly closed down the video, but it was too late. Not long after the stream, he received a notification from Twitch telling him he had been banned from Twitch for showing "accidental nudity or explicit sex content."

Zoil's fans on Twitter weren't impressed by the ban who claimed that it was unfair the streamer was banned even though it was an accidental slip and he immediately closed the video once he realised what was happening. One fan stated: "That's honestly kinda f**ked that they can ban you for wardrobe malfunctions or 'accidental nudity' like, it's an accident?? What does banning them solve here??"

However, another argued: "It sends the message 'take care to never do it again'. But because Twitch bans people like 8 times for something without escalating the punishment, nobody cares."

Imane "Pokimane" Anys fans out there will, of course, remember the time the streamer also risked being banned from Twitch after accidentally livestreaming an explicit Food Wars episode. However, she ultimately did not receive a ban for the slip-up.

When Did Zoil Return To Twitch?

Thankfully Zoil's ban didn't last for too long as he was back up on Twitch by February 13, after being suspended from the Amazon-owned platform for "1 day, 1 minute and 22 seconds." He wasted no time in treating his 112k followers to a livestream in which he addressed the incident but was clearly confused about it all. Opening up his stream, Zoil yelled: "Why the f**k did I get banned?" He also proclaimed that he was "pretty sure" it was the motorcyclist clip.

Matthew "Mizkif" Rinaudo will no doubt be over-the-moon to have his streaming buddy back up on Twitch again. Zoil will no doubt be making sure to avoid getting banned again after such a boring day with Lost Ark which he claimed 'cured' him of his insomnia.
