Who is Mr Door in Alan Wake 2?
In Alan Wake 2, Mr. Door (full name Warlin Door) is a talk show host who appears in The Dark Place with Alan Wake. His show is called “In Between with Mr. Door” and even features Sam Lake as a guest alongside Alan.
As Alan is forced to relive or experience seemingly reoccurring nightmares, Mr Door plays a prominent role in his torment by bombarding him with questions he doesn't seem to remember the answer to.
However, in Alan Wake 2, he plays a pretty significant role in the life of the other playable character in the game, Saga Anderson and is intrinsically tied to the town of Bright Falls. While we won’t reveal it here, let’s just say he is an intriguing presence in both their lives.
Mr. Door was additionally mentioned in Control, a game very much like Alan Wake, further cementing the shared universe between the two games.
Who plays Mr Door in Alan Wake 2?
In Alan Wake 2, Mr. Door is played by David Harewood, a British actor with a vast filmography, including Homeland, Supergirl, The Merchant of Venice, Blood Diamond, Doctor Who, and more.
He’s also no stranger to video game performances, having played prominent characters in Battlefield 3, Killzone: Shadow Fall and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
However, his role as Mr. Door is his latest role and, I must say, a great one at that.
