Is Alan Wake 2 coming to Xbox Game Pass?

Alan Wake 2 is the latest game from Remedy Entertainment and fans of the series will probably be wondering if it will be available via Xbox Game Pass.
Game Pass remains one of the best services in gaming despite Phil Spencer’s recent comments about an inevitable price hike. In recent times, great games like Lies of P and Cocoon have all been added to the service, but looking to the future we’re desperate to know if Alan Wake 2 will also be gracing the service.
Alan Wake 2 is a sequel 13 years in the making. Despite a remaster and an appearance in the Control AWE expansion, we can’t wait to see what everyone's favourite crime writer is up to next.

Is Alan Wake 2 coming to Xbox Game Pass?
For now, at least, Alan Wake 2 will not be appearing on Xbox Game Pass.
There's no reason it won’t come to the service eventually. Control, Remedy Entertainment's previous game, did appear on the service for a time, although it was taken off in February 2022. So there is precedent for their games appearing on the subscription service.
Although Alan Wake 2 isn’t on Xbox Game Pass, there's still plenty to look forward to from the game and our return to Bright Falls after an extended period away. You can check out our preview to get our thoughts on the game so far, including the stunning graphics.
