Breakout Rewards
Legend Challenges
Every two weeks, starting February 13, 2024, Apex Legends players can complete new Legend Challenges to permanently unlock a featured Legend for free! These challenges are rather basic, involving tasks like playing matches and dealing damage with the Legend tied to the particular Legend Challenges.
Once a set of Legend Challenges goes live, you'll have until the end of Season 20 to complete the challenges and collect the Completion Rewards.
Start Date | Legend |
February 13, 2024 | Seer |
February 27, 2024 | Fuse |
March 12, 2024 | Rampart |
March 26, 2024 | Mad Maggie |
April 9, 2024 | Loba |
April 23, 2024 | Valkyrie |
Featured Banners
As you progress in the Season 20 Battle Pass, you'll unlock special Banner Frames. Every ten levels, from Level 10 to Level 60, you'll get a different Legend Banner. These Banner Frames are part of the free Battle Pass track, too, so you don't need to purchase the Battle Pass.
Battle Pass Level | Battle Pass Banner |
10 | "Moth to the Spotlight" |
20 | "Boomtastic" |
30 | "Bang! Bang! Bang!" |
40 | "Televised Revolution" |
50 | "Mine All Mine" |
60 | "Amazing Aviation" |
Completing the Legend Challenges also awards Battle Pass Stars. If you focus on the Legend Challenges, you can quickly advance in the Battle Pass and unlock all the Banner Frames.
Free Gifts
Accompanying the bi-weekly Legend Challenges, the in-game Shop will offer a set of free rewards that Apex Legends players can gift their friends. A new free Skin and Sticker will pop up in the Shop every two weeks, and the only way to get these items is via gifting!
Availability | Skin | Sticker |
February 13-27, 2024 | “Inner Flow” Seer | “Showtime” |
February 27 - March 12, 2024 | “Bomb Fit” Fuse | “Bringing the Boom” |
March 12-26, 2024 | “Born to Dye” Rampart | “Bang!” |
March 26 - April 9, 2024 | “Queen of Punk” Mad Maggie | “Verbal Assault” |
April 9-23, 2024 | “Black Diamond” Loba | “Queen’s Hoard” |
April 23 - May 7, 2024 | “Shooting Star” Valkyrie | “Cloudbreaker” |
Chase Rewards
While you can collect a variety of Breakout Rewards by completing Legend Challenges, progressing in the Battle Pass, and handing out gifts, the major draw is the Chase Rewards. The chase cosmetics include a cosmetic set for Wraith and the Reactive “Top Tier” Flatline, a reskin of the wildly popular "Heat Sink" Weapon Skin for the Flatline.
Each Chase Challenge awards a different piece of the cosmetic set for Wraith:
- Complete all six sets of Legend Challenges
- Unlocks Legendary “Runaway Renegade” Wraith
- Collect all six Legend Banners in the free Battle Pass track
- Unlocks Wraith’s “Royal Stage” Banner
- Gift limited-time gifts at least six times
- Unlocks a Legendary Sticker and Rare Wraith Tracker set
To get the "Top Tier" Flatline Weapon Skin, you must complete all three Chase Challenges.
Season 20's Breakout Rewards won't be easy to get, but if you can manage to come back week after week and complete all the challenges, you'll walk away with a brand-new Legendary Wraith Skin and a reskin of one of Apex's most sought-after Weapon Skins.
