All Apex Legends Guardian Angel Changes In Season 14
Find out what's changed concerning the Apex Legends Guardian Angel Perk in Season 14: Hunted.
Apex Legends' Guardian Angel Perk can save your or a teammate's life in a pinch. Level 4 (Gold) Gear in Apex Legends features powerful Perks that make them especially sought after, one of which is Guardian Angel. As it turns out, Apex Legends Guardian Angel is undergoing some adjustments in Season 14, so let's go over everything you need to know about the changes.
- Apex Legends Season 14 is scheduled to go live on August 9, 2022.
What Does The Guardian Angel Perk Do In Apex Legends?
A legend enhanced with the Guardian Angel Perk in Apex Legends will revive teammates with bonus shields and health. Usually when you pick a squadmate back up, they start with just 25 health and have to spend a chunk of time using meds to regenerate their health and shields. However, when attended to by a teammate with the Guardian Angel Perk, the revived player rises to their feet with 50 health and half of their shields.
Apex Legends Guardian Angel Changes In Season 14
Ever since Season 3, the Guardian Angel Perk has been associated with the Level 4 Backpack. However, starting in Season 14: Hunted, Apex's Guardian Angel Perk is transferring to the Gold Knockdown Shield. Say goodbye to the Gold Knockdown Shield's infamous self-res capabilities, as the Resurrection Perk is getting removed from the game in Season 14.
The Gold Helmet and Gold Body Shield remain unchanged in Season 14.
- Sharpshooters will love Apex Legends Vantage, Season 14's new legend.
Apex Legends Guardian Angel Perk: What Legends Get Priority?
With these changes to the Apex Legends Guardian Angel Perk, teams should opt to pass Gold Knockdown Shields over to Lifeline, Newcastle, Gibraltar, and/or Mirage. These legends excel in reviving teammates and typically play the "medic" role for their squad. Since these characters will be doing most of the reviving, it's important to hook them up with the Level 4 Backpack, thus allowing them to take full advantage of the Guardian Angel Perk.
Apex Legends New Deep Pockets Perk Explained
So, what does the Gold Backpack do now? Season 14 will introduce the Deep Pockets Perk to Apex Legends. The Deep Pockets Perk allows the user to stack extra meds. For example, normally, you can only hold one Phoenix Kit, two Med Kits, and two Shield Batteries in a single inventory slot. With Deep Pockets, you can stack two Phoenix Kits, three Med Kits, and three Shield Batteries.
Deep Pockets makes it so you won't need to waste as much space in your inventory on meds, as you can stack more per slot. Alternatively, anyone with a Gold Backpack in Season 14 can act as their team's med mule, loading up on Phoenix Kits, Med Kits, and Shield Batteries and dishing them to squadmates in need.
That's everything you need to know about Apex Legends Guardian Angel in Season 14. Set your calendars for August 9 to be one of the first players to test out these reworked Gold Items.
