Apex Legends may have come into existence in the blink of an eye back in 2019, but it’s quickly become a staple in the battle royale genre. It’s continued to grow and introduce new elements that have kept fans coming back all these years later.

What Is Hardcore Royale In Apex Legends?
While Apex Legends has carved an identity for itself, it’s also known for borrowing elements from other games. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, as it’s helped build the foundations of the game and turn it into what it is today.
With Hardcore Royale, it may not be too much of a shock to learn it’s heavily influenced by Call of Duty’s popular game mode of the same name. It’s also available now for all players to dive in and try if they're looking for a more challenging experience.
For anyone who isn’t familiar with Hardcore Royale, it takes the core concept and makes it much more challenging for players. What this means is that combatants can expect a reduced HUD, base-level armour, a lack of helmets, and an ever-closing circle that will start at max damage.
To make things harder, armour doesn't spawn in Deathboxes, meaning there will be no armour swapping throughout the match. You're going to have to be at the top of your came to claim a win.
As you can see, it’s heavily inspired by Call of Duty but offers veteran Apex Legends players new challenges to overcome in the name of victory. Anyone who completes the modes event collection will also be rewarded with a Peacemaker skin for their hard-earned efforts.
