Best parts to buy first in Armored Core 6
In the early goings of Armored Core 6, the most important parts to upgrade are your legs and your generator. The generator determines how much power your AC has, and as such dictates the parts you can use. Attempt to equip parts that your generator cannot handle, and you will go into EN Shortfall.
Likewise, your legs are the key to your Armored Core's weight capacity. You need strong legs if you want to carry a heavy load of weapons and armour. There are other factors as well, but if your legs cannot carry your build, your AC will be overburdened and, unless you unlock an OS chip that says otherwise, you will not be able to Sortie with it.
Legs are also highly important when it comes to mobility, which really determines your AC build. For example, a high mobility build starts with fast legs that have great jumps and dashes. Tougher, more durable builds or builds with heavy weapons require strong legs, tetrapod legs, or even tank treads.
The key to building an AC is to have a good generator and the right legs to carry the rest of the parts and weapons you want to use. Upgrade your generator early, and your build will soar.

Best weapons to buy first in Armored Core 6
For the early missions in Armored Core 6, particularly through the first chapter, you really don't need to worry too much about weapons. The main thing you want is the energy sword, which you start the game with. Beyond that, other weapons can be very situational.
The weapons you use will change a lot, as each mission is different and suited to different loadouts. You will want to accrue an arsenal to cover every situation, but thankfully Armored Core 6 is quite accommodating in this area.
Weapons and parts that you buy can be sold again for the same amount, meaning there is no downside to buying a weapon and trying it out. Focus on getting at least one weapon for every situation; close quarters, long-range, high damage, high impact, and so on.
Overall, you should run with an MA-J-200 Burst Rifle, or any other weapon with a reasonably high fire rate to maintain impact damage and stagger enemies, a missile pod on your shoulder for lock-on damage, and the energy sword to do massive damage once the enemy is staggered.
Your exact build isn't too important when it comes to regular enemies in the early game, most weapons will take them out. For bosses and other ACs, you need to use impact to stagger them, then go in for the sword kill.
