How long will Astro Bot be?
If you're wondering how long you'll spend playing Team Asobi's new Astro Bot, then we've got all of the answers you'll need right here in this breakdown.
While Astro Bot is still a little way away, we have received a glimpse of how long the PlayStation-exclusive platforming adventure will be, allowing you to prepare your time and plan your approach accordingly.
Astro Bot length revealed
As reported by Insider Gaming, developer Team Asobi's director Nicolas Doucet revealed in an interview with Julien Chièze that Astro Bot will be around 12-15 hours in length.
This isn't too surprising or contrary to expectations, as it stacks up compared to similar 3D platformers like Super Mario Odyssey. However, this does - at least, according to HowLongToBeat - make the new game the longest in the Astro series.
The VR-exclusive Astro Bot Rescue Mission took around 8 hours to complete, and 2020's Astro's Playroom, which came bundled with the PS5, only clocked in at around 3-4 hours.
Astro Bot is certainly being billed as the biggest step yet though, taking the action to centre stage with many new levels, abilities, and tricks to uncover.
I'd also not be surprised if the hour count extended significantly for anyone looking to 100% the game too. Any seasoned platformer fan will expect there to be a lot of secrets and hidden rewards to find, which will occupy you far beyond the main story path.
