How to free animals in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
If you've seen trapped animals while on your travels in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you might feel inclined to free them. Here's how you can do just that.
If you’ve stumbled across any animals trapped by the RDA in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you’ll probably want to know how to free them. Unless you’re heartless, of course.
I struggled to find out what to do at first, but the solution is actually really simple. So read on and we’ll show you exactly what you need to do to free animals in the game!
How to free animals from cages in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Occasionally you’ll find animals trapped inside electric cages with RDA soldiers patrolling around them.
To free these animals, all you have to do is damage the front section of the cage below the animal’s head. This will break the cage and free the animal within.
Afterwards, the animal will try to run away, but I've also seen one attacking nearby soldiers. You might need to kill the rest of the RDA soldiers though.
What do you get for freeing animals?
As far as we know, there’s no reward each time you free an animal. Feel free to do it if you just want to free them though, as it’s pretty upsetting to leave them in there!
But as far as any sort of in-game completion goes, there are no rewards for freeing these animals. They’re really only there for a bit of extra gameplay and world-building.
Eventually, you'll have to do main quests which involve freeing animals, so it's good to know how to do it before you reach them.
