Do Baldur's Gate 3 early access saves carry over to the full game?
Sadly, your Baldur's Gate 3 early access saves will not carry over to the full game upon release on August 3, 2023. This means if you want to play through the whole game with the same character and class, you'll need to recreate them once the game has launched.
Even if you were to manually copy an early access save file before launch and then paste it into the folder for the saves on release, they still won't work.
This will change from August 3 onwards, when older saves will become compatible with newer versions, which is of course necessary with the game releasing and receiving post-launch updates and support.
