Many players are wondering whether BattleBit Remastered has a minimap, as with the giant maps you have to navigate through during the chaotic battles, it's easy to get lost.
BattleBit Remastered has become a smash success on Steam since its early access launch in late June 2023. Does Battlebit Remastered have a minimap?
In short, BattleBit Remastered currently doesn't have a minimap, with the only way of checking your location and surroundings being the dedicated map button, M. The downside of this is that it takes up the entire screen, making it difficult to quickly check and jump back into gameplay.
As the game is in early access at the time of writing this, it's possible that a minimap may be added in a future update, however, the developer hasn't confirmed it as a feature yet.
In a July 1 developer report, the devs outlined all the upcoming features and changes set to come to the game, but a minimap was notably absent, suggesting the feature is not on the radar currently (pun intended).
On the game's official Twitter, the dev also responded to a user asking for a minimap with, "why do you need a minimap?" This doesn't confirm or deny whether the feature will be added in the future, but it suggests the devs don't see it as important.
