The topic of what might be the best Conkeldurr moveset in Pokemon GO has been on the minds of more players since the Muscular Pokemon's addition to the game in 2020 with its strong stats and events like the Timburr Community Day

With high max CP, Attack, and Stamina stats, it's no surprise that more players are curious about which attacks they should teach Conkeldurr to get the best performance in different kinds of in-game battles.

Without further ado, let's dive right into the best Conkeldurr moveset in Pokemon GO for Raids & PvP battles.

Overall, the best Conkeldurr moveset in Pokemon GO for Raids is having Counter as the Fast Attack and Dynamic Punch as the Charged Attack - as I've found these have the highest DPS amongst the Fighting-type moves it can learn.

If your Conkeldurr hasn't learnt Dynamic Punch and you haven't got enough Charged TMs to try and get it, Focus Blast is a good substitute with a decent DPS in its own right - the caveat being it takes longer to charge.

Whilst Conkeldurr can learn other attacks like Poison Jab and Stone Edge, it's always best to stick with a Raid moveset with types that much the user - since they'll grant a 1.2x STAB, known as the "Same Type Attack Bonus".

Best Conkeldurr Pokemon GO movesets for PvP

With the additional layers of strategy involved with Pokemon GO PvP, the best moveset for Conkeldurr depends entirely on the opponent you're going up against - since they'll be factoring in your 'mon's strengths and weaknesses as well.

So, your best choice for PvP is two different Conkeldurr builds: one that's defensive to cover its weaknesses, or offensive to inflict as much damage as possible utilising its strengths with a Fighting-type moveset.

What are Conkeldurr's type weaknesses?

Like in the mainline games, Conkeldurr is weak against Psychic, Flying, and Fairy-types. Thankfully, there are a couple of attacks you can add to your Conkeldurr moveset if your opponent tries to counter you with its weaknesses.

The moveset you'll want to run for Conkeldurr in terms of defensive-type coverage against weaknesses is to have Poison Jab as the Fast Attack and Stone Edge as the Charged Attack.

These are so you'll be able to counter against Fairy-types with the super-effective Poison Jab, and then you can do the same with Stone Edge against Flying types.

Offensive Conkeldurr moveset

The best PvP moveset for Conkeldurr in Pokemon GO is the same as the one for raids: pairing Counter and Dynamic Punch. In theory, you could still substitute Dynamic Punch for Focus Blast like in Raids, but the longer charging time will make it less efficient against forcing your opponent to use their Shields.

If you're unable to get another Charged TM to try and swap Focus Blast for Dynamic Punch and want the best PvP team possible, I would say it's best to switch Conkeldurr for another Fighting-type in the meantime.

And with that, there's everything you need to know about how to build a great moveset for Conkeldurr in Pokemon GO.
