Highlights

  • VALORANT lets you change crosshairs by copying a crosshair code
  • Many pro players make their crosshair codes public, so you can try their reticule

In a game like VALORANT where the mechanics of aiming are imperative to your success, it's a good idea to use some of the best-regarded crosshair codes - especially ones repped by the pro players.

VALORANT is nearing its fourth year out in the wild, and while many aspects of the game have changed with new maps, Agents, modes, and balances, aim is still the most important part of the experience.

While the default crosshair is fine, I can attest that a good custom one can make a massive difference to your performance, as once I found the one that suited me, both my aiming ability and consistency were noticeably better overall.

Best VALORANT crosshair codes

Asuna's crosshair code

Crosshair code: 0;P;o;1;0t;1;0l;2;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0

Fire off those headshots with unerring accuracy with 100T Asuna's crosshair code.

Hiko's crosshair code

Crosshair code: 0;P;c;1;h;0;d;1;z;1;0t;1;0l;2;0a;1;0f;0;1l;5;1o;4;1a;1;1m;0;1f;0

Hiko may have turned to streaming, but the former CS pro's setup is still competitive.

Boaster's crosshair code

Crosshair code: 0;s;1;P;c;1;o;1;d;1;0l;0;0o;2;0a;1;0f;0;1t;0;1l;0;1o;0;1a;0;S;c;1;o;1

This is a small green dot crosshair with a black outline, which makes for a good contrast to see enemies.

cNed's crosshair code

Crosshair code: 0;P;h;0;f;0;0l;5;0o;0;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0

cNed's crosshair code is a white cross-style crosshair with no space in the middle. There's a big difference between having a space or no space in the middle, so I recommend trying out both styles.

Cryo's crosshair code

Crosshair code: 0;P;h;0;0l;4;0o;0;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0

A cross reticule in white, with no gap between the lines. Much like cNed's above.

Crosshair code: 0;s;1;P;c;5;h;0;f;0;0t;1;0o;1;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0;S;s;0.8

Medium blue lines with a tiny gap in the centre. The tiny gap lets you catch sight of the enemy to line up the shot.

This is a cross-style crosshair (try and say that five times fast!) with the vertical lines appearing smaller than the horizontal ones.

Shroud's crosshair code

Crosshair code: 0;P;h;0;0l;5;0o;0;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0

Play like Shroud with this VALORANT crosshair code based on the streaming superstar's setup.

TenZ's crosshair code

Crosshair code: 0;s;1;P;c;5;h;0;m;1;0l;4;0o;2;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0;S;c;4;o;1

This is a simple small cross-based reticule. When I switched over to something like this (just with a different colour scheme) I found myself tracking targets better and getting more consistent headshots.

Wanheda's crosshair code

Crosshair code: 0;P;c;5;h;0;f;0;0l;4;0o;1;0a;1;0e;0.328;1b;0

Sometimes, a simple change is the best, and Wanheda's crosshair is a standard cross that's all blue.

How to use crosshair codes in VALORANT

Using a crosshair code is incredibly simple, as all it requires is for you to paste a working code into a specific section of the settings menu. We'll cover the exact steps you need to take below:

  • From the main menu, select the settings icon in the top right corner
  • Click 'Settings' and then press the 'Crosshair' tab
  • Select 'Import Profile Code' next to Crosshair Profile
  • Copy a code and paste it into the text box
  • Click 'Import'

That's it! You'll now be able to use whichever crosshair you imported to your game.

Before jumping into your next match, I recommend testing out your new crosshair in the shooting range to see if it helps with your aim. Try different aim exercises and note your performance between crosshairs to see which one works best.

It's worth noting that it mostly comes down to personal preference, and a crosshair that works perfectly for some might not be best for you.

Just keep experimenting and trying the codes on our list, and you should find one that works for you.

Check out our VALORANT homepage for more guides. We've also covered the Agent tier list, how to change FOV, how to use true stretched res, the current rank distribution, and the Night Market dates.
