Best Warzone SMG loadouts & Submachine Gun classes (Season 6)
There are a number of good SMGs in Warzone, but only a few can claim the top spots.
The best Warzone SMG loadouts can be difficult to find, especially with there being so many options due to MW2 & MW3's arsenals being combined. If you favour a close-quarters style when playing, check out my list of the best SMGs to make use of during Season 6.
Best Warzone 2 SMGs ranked
5. HRM-9
Best HRM-9 loadout
- Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider
- Barrel: Princeps Long
- Stock: Folding Stock
- Ammunition: 9MM High Grain Rounds
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
Hefty nerfs to the HRM-9 on May 9 have sent this weapon spiralling down the tier list, but it still manages to hold onto number five.
Its max damage output and range both took a hit, meaning it's no longer the premium choice, but it still offers a solid TTK, mobility, and snappy ADS time.
The HRM-9's time in the spotlight is definitely over, but if you're extremely comfortable with the gun, you can make it work.
4. AMR9
Best AMR9 loadout
- Barrel: Tectonic Micro Integrator Suppressor
- Optic: JAK Glassless Optic
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
- Rear Grip: SAKIN ZX Grip
- Stock: DEMO D50 Buffer Tube
At MW3's release, the AMR9 was largely considered to be one of the worst options in the arsenal, but that changed massively when Sledgehammer decided to give it some much-needed buffs.
Unlike a lot of its competitors, the AMR9 can hold its own at mid-range.
This is important as that is brilliant for any tactical competitors who prefer to take on gunfights a little slower than ultra-aggressive players. So, if you want a little more versatility in your skirmishes, this could be the option for you.
3. WSP-9
Best WSP-9 loadout
- Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider
- Barrel: HISS Short Light
- Optic: JAK Glassless Optic
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Magazine: 50 Round Mag
Coming in at number two is the deadly WSP-9, a weapon that's risen up through the ranks due to hefty nerfs to its competition and a sprint-to-fire time decrease making it far more aggressive. The powerful SMG features a slow rate of fire which can be unforgiving in certain gunfights, but if you hit your shots, it deletes foes.
Packed with plenty of stability and enough movement speed to traverse the largest of maps, this weapon has a lot to offer. Its strength has only increased since the release of the JAK Glassless Optic, which makes the gun deadly accurate.
2. Superi 46
Best Superi 46 loadout
- Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
- Stock: Rescue-9 Stock
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Ammunition: 4.6MM High Grain
The Superi 46 is one of the most versatile SMGs in the game, performing best as an all-rounder weapon. The right attachments ensure it's useful at any range by reducing the recoil and improving the ranged damage.
With the setup above, you can play a run-and-gun style or a more composed style, even switching between both due to the weapon's ability to support both.
1. Static-HV
Best Static-HV loadout
- Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
- Barrel: Auger 840 Light Barrel
- Underbarrel: Paracord Grip
- Stock: Spry 34 Light Stock
Added in Season Five, the Static-HV has been a fan-favourite ever since, thanks to its large magazine size and rate of fire.
The gun can hold its own at medium-range with the right attachments, but excels at close-quarters combat, making it immensely versatile.
If you want an SMG that's hard-hitting and won't falter if an opponent pops a little further away than expected, this loadout has to be your choice in MW3.
