Best Warzone Sensitivity: Stick Sensitivity

When it comes to Warzone stick sensitivity, the sweet spot seems to be six for both vertical and horizontal sensitivity. Famous Call of Duty pros and content creators such as Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff, Seth “Scump” Abner, and Matthew Formal Piper all set their vertical and horizontal sensitivity settings at six.

Six is the perfect middle ground where players can look and move freely while still maintaining precise aim. A lower stick sensitivity may make it difficult to look around fast enough and keep up with players moving around you, while higher stick sensitives are much more difficult to control. For these reasons, six horizontal and vertical sensitivity is usually the best controller sensitivity for Warzone.

Best Warzone Sensitivity: ADS Sensitivity Multiplier

It’s recommended to keep your aim down sight (ADS) sensitivity multiplier at a clean 1.0. A 1.0 ADS sensitivity multiplier will ensure that your ADS sensitivity perfectly aligns with your regular stick sensitivity. This will help with muscle memory.

If you are looking for a little more precision when you aim down sight, feel free to lower the ADS sensitivity multiplier by a few decimals. Vice versa, if you feel like you need to look around faster while aimed in, bump it up a few decimals.

Best Warzone Sensitivity: Aim Response Curve Type

Aim response curve type is another setting that affects how sensitive your analogue sticks are in-game. The Standard setting option is typically the best Warzone controller sensitivity choice for the average player.

First-person shooter vets may opt to try out the Dynamic aim response curve type. This sensitivity settings rapidly accelerates your aim as you hold the analogue stick in a certain direction. However, the acceleration will quickly slow down as you let off on the stick. This will allow you to move your aim from target to target at high speeds but still slow down as you set your eyes on your final mark.

Linear aim response curve should be avoided entirely as it’s tough to control and very unforgiving in nature.

Best Warzone Sensitivity: Aim Assist

Similar to the aim response curve type, the aim assist setting most players will want to go with is the Standard option. The Precision setting can be good for longer range engagements, but players with Precision aim assist enabled will really struggle in close quarters combat. Standard is the best aim assist controller sensitivity setting all-around.

Focusing is a third aim assist option designed for Warzone beginners or players new to first-person shooters. This aim assist setting slows down your crosshairs if you nearly miss an enemy target. Try it out if you’re struggling with your aim, but anyone familiar with first-person shooters will want to avoid Focusing aim assist.

Best Warzone Sensitivity: Best Mouse And Keyboard Settings For Warzone

Mouse

  • DPI: 450
  • Mouse Sensitivity - 7.50
  • Aim Down Sight (ADS) Mouse Sensitivity - Legacy
  • Invert Mouse Look - Disabled
  • Mouse Acceleration - 0.00
  • Mouse Filtering - 0.00
  • Mouse Smoothing - Disabled

Best Warzone Sensitivity: DPI

DPI, or dots per linear inch, is basically another way of saying mouse sensitivity. The higher the DPI, the higher the mouse sensitivity and the faster the pointer speed.

Pretty much every pro Warzone player plays on a DPI setting between 400-800. Positioning your Warzone mouse sensitivity at 450 is a solid starting point. It’s much easier to control your aim at 450 DPI than it is on higher settings. Start low and gradually raise it higher if you find yourself needing to flick your crosshairs around faster.

Best Warzone Sensitivity: Mouse Sensitivity

Your Warzone mouse sensitivity should be aligned according to your mouse DPI. a Warzone mouse sensitivity of 7.50 matches up perfectly with a DPI of 450. This is actually the same exact DPI and mouse sensitivity settings that Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek uses when he plays Warzone.

Players that prefer a DPI closer to 800  will want to lower their mouse sensitivity to account for the higher DPI. Typically the higher the DPI, the lower your mouse sensitivity should be.

Best Warzone Sensitivity: Best ADS Sensitivity Warzone

Warzone players on PC can choose between Legacy and Relative ADS mouse sensitivity. Legacy is the ADS mouse sensitivity setting Call of Duty vets are familiar with, while Relative attempts to use an improved mouse algorithm to match mouse movement with on-screen movement. The large majority of Warzone players will want to stick with the Legacy option. It’s easier to build muscle memory on Legacy.

Now, get back to Verdansk, tweak those settings, and ensure you’re playing with the best Warzone sensitivity settings possible.
