How long is Black Myth: Wukong?
Take a look at our breakdown of how long Black Myth: Wukong is based on our time playing the game now that it's here.
When it comes to the most anticipated action RPGs of 2024, Black Myth: Wukong was on that list, and with the launch it certainly delivered, becoming the highest concurrently played single-player of all time on Steam hours after release.
If you're curious how long you can feasibly spend in the world of Black Myth, here's what you need to know about the length.
How long is Black Myth: Wukong?
Black Myth will likely take most players between 20 and 30 hours to beat, due to its distinct and large chapters. If you just rush the main bosses in each chapter and take no time to explore, you could probably get this under 20.
The game does have a lot of optional content though, with side bosses, quests, and secrets in each area, along with some that will take you back to previous areas hours later.
If you do take a more completionist approach, expect an experience well over 50 hours. If you also take into the account the multiple endings and having to replay the game to reach some of them, this will be closer to 100.
In short, Black Myth has a lot to offer players, so you can very fill your next month of playtime with this game alone.
Back in 2020, the developers were suggesting the game would be closer to 15 hours in total, so the scope has clearly expanded in the last four years.
