The Campaign is a highly anticipated facet of any Call of Duty game, but especially so in a Black Ops title. Set during the Gulf War of the early 1990s, Black Ops 6 promises to deliver a thrilling spy plot, visiting plenty of locations around the world and revisiting some of the game's most beloved characters.

Recently, a huge leak for the game gave us a glimpse at just some of the Campaign mission titles, giving us a small amount of insight as to where we'll be going and what we'll be doing in the story. I've listed all the ones we know about below and will continue to update them when we know more.

All leaked Black Ops 6 Campaign missions so far

  • Contract
  • Heist
  • Interrogation
  • Intro
  • Redacted
  • Sabotage
  • Sandbox
  • Safehouse Defend
  • Storm
  • Union

Right now, we know about at least 10 of the missions that will be included in the Black Ops 6 Campaign. These mission titles are all directly referenced by the leaked list of trophies and achievements for the game.

However, it's possible that this isn't a comprehensive list of the missions in the game. We know that the game will follow a similar structure to Cold War, in that there'll be a safehouse hub area and an investigation board where we can choose the missions we embark on.

In Cold War, there were also a fair few optional missions we could complete to uncover new pieces of intelligence. These missions didn't have any trophies or achievements attached to them, so if Black Ops 6 follows the same structure, we likely don't have the full picture just yet.

The missions that we do know about give us some indication of what we'll be up to in the Campaign, though. As denoted by the mission titles, it looks like there'll be some sort of Heist we'll need to pull off in one mission. It seems that our CIA safehouse will be ambushed at some point, too, and we'll need to defend it.

How long will the Black Ops 6 Campaign be?

We can't say for sure how long the Black Ops 6 Campaign will be, as we haven't yet played it for ourselves. However, if we base the length of it on the 10 main missions that we currently know about, we can estimate it will take around five to six hours to complete.

This is assuming that each mission takes between 30 and 40 minutes to complete, with optional shorter missions sprinkled in between. You'll also need to take the difficulty you're playing on into account, as playing on Veteran will likely take you much longer than playing on Easy.

There's also the wrinkle of this game reportedly having open-world-type missions to contend with. Depending on their size, these could considerably lengthen how long it takes to complete the main campaign, so take our current estimations with a pinch of salt.

Five to six hours is roughly in keeping with how long previous Call of Duty campaigns have been, with Cold War, Modern Warfare 2, and Modern Warfare 3 all recently coming in at around a similar length. Let's just hope Black Ops 6's Campaign is better received critically than last year's offering...

We'll have a full Campaign walkthrough arriving on GGRecon when Black Ops 6 launches in October, and I'll also update this guide with how long it takes me to finish the Campaign once I've completed it myself.

This guide is a work in progress and will be updated when we learn more information about the game.
