Black Ops 6 is set to be the latest in the ever-expanding Call of Duty franchise, and PC players may want to know if they're due an upgrade to run the game optimally.

COD games don't exactly push the envelope on graphics, but it's always important to know what the minimum and recommended specs are to get an idea of what performance you can expect.

Sadly, there is no target resolution or framerate for these specifications, so you'll need to do some tinkering on your end once it releases to get the desired performance.

As a general guide, if you're at the minimum specs, expect 1080p @ 30 FPS; if you're at the recommended specs, expect 1080p @ 60 FPS. If you eclipse both, you can target 1440p or 4K and even higher framerates.

It's worth noting that the recommended hardware is also fairly old at this point. For example, only 0.47% of Steam users have a GTX 1080Ti based on the most recent hardware survey, with a large chunk of users having more powerful GPUs.

Ultimately, if you can currently run Modern Warfare 3 or Warzone on your computer, it's very likely you'll have similar performance in Black Ops 6.
