The Clairvoyant Relic is the toughest Persona 3 Reload boss yet as you reach the 42nd floor of Tartarus, which is why you must pick up a winning strategy and learn its resistance to beat it.
With the right moves at your disposal, you'll be able to defeat the Clairvoyant Relic and carry on with P3R in no time.
How to beat Clairvoyant Relic in Persona 3 Reload
Does Clairvoyant Relic have any weaknesses or resistances?
Clairvoyant Relic has no weaknesses in Persona 3 Reload, but it has complete resistance to Light and Dark skills.
So, you'll want to prioritise using Physical skills to deal damage - except for Yukari who only has her Wind skills in that department.
The best strategy to beat Clairvoyant Relic in P3R
You'll have the best chance of beating Clairvoyant Relic in Persona 3 Reload after you gain Akihiko as a fourth member in your party; however, if you want to beat the boss as soon as it becomes available to make the most of your time, and you're at least Level 16, you can still win with just the protagonist, Junpei, and Yukari.
The trick to defeating Clairvoyant Relic with just your original three P3R party members is keeping these three skills in your movesets: Tarunda (decreases an enemy's Attack for three turns), Rakunda (decreases an enemy's Defense for three turns), and Media (slightly restores HP of the whole party).
Yukari will have Media in her own arsenal, so it's up to you to bring in Personas with Tarunda and Rakunda in their skill sets.
Clairvoyant Relic intuitively uses multiple elemental attacks to hit your party's weaknesses in Persona 3 and inflict larger amounts of damage, so you'll need to execute the following rotation of moves to win:
- Have one of your Personas use Tarunda or Rakunda
- Order Yukari to restore any lost health with Media
- Inflict Physical damage with Junpei
- Deal extra damage with your own Personas
- Use Tarunda or Rakunda again when either wears off
Since Clairvoyant Relic has no weaknesses, it'll be a more drawn-out boss battle than normal. Be that as it may, Tarunda will keep its damage at bay whilst you chip at its health backed by Rakunda - with Yukari's Media seeing you through to the end.
