The Cyberpunk 2077 Beat on the Brat quest has been causing players trouble since the game's release two years ago, and even now it's considered to be one of the hardest quests in the game and is the bane of anyone trying to 100% the game. Cyberpunk 2077 has a range of main and side jobs to take part in over the course of the story, with side jobs rewarding you with XP, Street Cred, items, and more.

They are a great way to build up your arsenal and name on the streets of Night City, but not all of them are so simple. So if you need a little help with completing Cyberpunk 2077 Beat on the Brat, we'll give you a hand.

Arroyo

Beat On The Brat: Arroyo

Buck is the fighter you will meet for this particular job. He's a slow fighter who can punch through your blocks, but his lack of speed allows you to get a lot of damage in.

Kabuki

Beat On The Brat: Kabuki

Beat on the Brat: Kabuki will see you taking on the twins, two fighters linked together by enhancements. Let them line up so you can take them on one at a time, and they have some easy tells, such as their t-pose stance, where you can get some hits in.

Rancho Coronado

Beat On The Brat: Rancho Coronado

In Rancho Coronado you will be dealing with Rhino, a heavy hitter who has a long wind-up on her attacks, making her easy to dodge or interrupt. However, you fighter her in a small arena, so stay away from the edges and don't get trapped.

The Glen

Beat On The Brat: The Glen

In The Glen you will be taking on Cesar Diego Ruiz, who has a very hard-hitting signature move you'll need to learn to dodge. When he pumps his fists to the side, he'll dash a couple of times and then jump in the air to land a punch. Once you see him telegraph this move, dodge immediately and get back in for a few follow-up hits before repeating.

Final Fight

Beat On The Brat: Final Fight

Razor is the final fight of the Beat on the Brat questline, but you are given two options for the end. You can throw the fight by losing and making a lot of credits, or undergo the hard task of beating Razor for a bunch of Street Cred. If you opt to fight him, stay away and let him rush you, which can be blocked easily and followed up with damage. He will also heal back to 50% HP after hitting 10%, so be prepared for a long fight.

Cyberpunk 2077 Beat On The Brat Explained

To start the Beat on the Brat side job, you will need to leave your apartment and travel to the opposite side of the floor, where the market area is. Nearby, you can find Coach Fred and his training robot, and speaking to him will begin the job by marking four side jobs that are part of the quest. You will need to go out and individually complete all of these jobs which involve taking part in street fights, and then Coach Fred will contact you about beginning the final fight and fully finishing the Beat on the Brat side job.

Aside from the fighter-specific advice we have provided above, there are some things you can do to make all of these encounters much easier. Here are some general tips that will see finishing Cyberpunk 2077 Beat on the Brat in no time.

Blunt Weapons

Cyberpunk 2077 Beat On The Brat Tips

While you aren't supposed to use weapons during these fights, you can glitch one in to make your time easier. Take out a blunt weapon like a baseball bat and set it down in the arena before the fight, then go and talk to the fighter to begin. You will be able to pick up the weapon once the fight starts, and using it won't disqualify you or end the job. It's imperative that you use a blunt weapon here, as blades or guns won't let you progress.

Gorilla Arms

In the world of Cyberpunk, cybernetic enhancements are your best friend, and the Gorilla Arms are particularly strong. They increase your unarmed damage massively, and let you hit twice as fast, allowing for a much higher damage output than normal unarmed attacks would. They can be purchased from a ripper doc after hitting 45 Street Cred.

Skills

Cyberpunk 2077 Beat On The Brat Tips 2

If you are creating a character that specializes in melee attacks, you may have some relevant skills already, but there are some you can spend points on to make Beat on the Brat easier.

  • Rush - allows you to regenerate HP on melee strikes.
  • Steel & Chrome - increases your melee damage by up to 20%.
  • Like a Butterfly - lets you dodge without draining your stamina.

Cybernetic Enhancements

Aside from the powerful Gorilla Arms, there are some other enhancements you acquire that will make the fights a cakewalk.

  • Blood Pump - Active to instantly restore all HP.
  • Biomonitor - Restore HP every few minutes when you go below 15%.
  • Second Heart - Restores you to full HP after taking fatal damage.
  • Syn-Lungs - Increase stamina regeneration.
  • Cataresist - Increases all resistances.
  • Pain Editor - Reduce all incoming damage by 10%.
  • Biodyne Berserk - Active to increase all melee damage and resistances.
  • Bionic Lungs - Increase stamina.

That's all for our rundown of the Cyberpunk 2077 Beat on the Brat side job, and now you know some ways to make this difficult questline easier.

If you are looking to get some cybernetic enhancements, finding Cyberpunk 2077 Fingers location will help you get some.
