- The other side of this coin for Survivors is the Dead by Daylight Evader emblem.
Dead By Daylight Chaser Emblem: How It Works
The Dead by Daylight Chaser emblem rewards Killers for successfully chasing down Survivors. Like other emblems, points are awarded for certain actions, and taken away for others. You are awarded five points for finding a Survivor and initiating a chase. More points are then given for completing the chase, with more points given the quicker it ends. End the chase before 15 seconds pass to get the full 90 points. Between 15 and 30 seconds awards 60 points, 30 to 45 gets your 50 points, 45 to 60 grants 40 points, and 30 points for anything over 60 seconds.
55 points are given for a successful chase, which is to say a chase that ends in landing a hit on the Survivor. Points for this emblem can be lost as well, as spending too much time hanging around Survivors on hooks will start to drain away your points. This is to discourage camping hooked Survivors and encourage fairer play.
- A good emblem to pair with getting Chaser is the Dead by Daylight Gatekeeper emblem.
Dead By Daylight Chaser Emblem: How To Get Iridescent
Getting the Chaser emblem to iridescent requires getting a total of 2550 points. That is a pretty huge number, considering the absolute most points you can gain from a single chase is 150. You will need 17 successful chases completed under 15 seconds in order to reach that score. This will require the Survivors to get off hooks multiple times and to heal each other.
For example, it takes two hits to down a healthy Survivor. That means the first time you encounter a Survivor you can successfully chase them twice before they go down. If you hook them, and they get away, you can chase them down one more time to down them and rehook them. Every Survivor can be hooked up to three times, giving a total of four chases per Survivor, unless they heal.
That adds up to 16 chases, one short of what we need. As such, we need a Survivor to heal at least once in order to get another chase out of them. Bear in mind, this is all based on getting perfect chases each time, ending them all in under 15 seconds. This is a pretty unrealistic standard, so in reality, we’re looking for probably 20+ successful chases to get this iridescent Chaser emblem.
