When does the Haunted by Daylight event begin?
The Haunted by Daylight event will begin on October 18, 2023, kicking off Dead by Daylight’s in-game Halloween 2023 festivities.
A roadmap detailing the order of events for Halloween 2023 shows that there is a Halloween live stream on October 13, 2023, to kick off this year’s Haunted by Daylight, before the main event starts five days later.

When is Tome 17 released in DbD?
Alongside the Halloween 2023 event, Dead by Daylight’s Tome 17 arrived on October 11, 2023, and is titled: Commitment.
Tome 17 will expand on the lore of The Oni and Feng Min, along with some side stories on The Dredge, Adam Francis and Dwight Fairfield, all with new cosmetics.

Haunted by Daylight event details & rewards
For playing during the Haunted by Daylight event in DbD and completing various objectives throughout the duration, you’re going to receive several rewards, including cosmetic items and Bloodpoints.
To do so, you will be entering a new Realm of The Entity called the Void Zone. These zones are where players have to deposit their accumulated Void Energy to release eerie Haunts into the map, which can change how a match is played.
Additionally, from October 18 to November 6, there will be daily login rewards in the form of Bloodpoints.

Haunted by Daylight & Halloween cosmetics for 2023
Alongside the Haunted by Daylight cosmetic rewards for The Knight and Meg Thomas, several collections are entering the in-game store for players to enjoy.
Void Collection
The Void Collection will transform Survivors into spooky versions of themselves, with glowing ice and ghastly spikes protruding from them. The Survivors receiving these cosmetics are:
- David King
- Haddie Kaur
- Yun-Jin Lee
However, this collection is only available until the end of the Haunted by Daylight event on November 6, 2023. So, if you're looking for a spooky new look, it's best to grab them quickly.
Hallowed Blight Collection
The Blighted cosmetics are a staple of a Halloween event in Dead by Daylight, with oozing pustules and grotesque transformations altering The Killers.
This year, several licensed characters are receiving Blighted cosmetics. They are:
- The Onryo
- Yoichi Asakawa
- The Xenomorph
These cosmetics are sure to give players a hauntingly good time as they complete their Haunted by Daylight challenges.
