Dead Island 2 release times
According to the official Dead Island Twitter account, you will be able to play Dead Island 2 once it hits midnight on April 21 in your local timezone. You can check out the official global release times map in the image above.
This means the game will have a staggered global release, and players in different timezones won't be able to play together until it hits April 21 in all locations.
Dead Island 2 is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, where it will be available on the Epic Games Store exclusively for a year.
Console players will also be able to begin the preload for the game now, allowing you to start playing the second it hits midnight in your timezone. Unfortunately, PC users are out of luck here, and will instead have to begin the download for the game once it hits midnight in their timezone.
