Is Dead Island 2 on Steam?
When writing this guide, Dead Island 2 is unavailable on Steam as it is an Epic Games Store exclusive. This is not the first time a AAA game has been released as an Epic Games Store exclusive.
While Steam has a better reach and is the preferred digital video game distribution service, some publishers still avoid a Steam release because of their hefty 30% commission from each sale. In contrast, Epic Games Store only takes a 12% cut.
