Delta Force Hawk Ops: How to unlock Vyron Operator

Delta Force Hawk Ops: How to unlock Vyron Operator

Delta Force: Hawk Ops has a number of Operators you can unlock, and Vyron is one of them. However, you'll need to do a bit of grinding first before you can get your hands on him.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • You can unlock Vyron by completing Tier 3 of the Recruit Check-in event
  • This requires you to log into Delta Force: Hawk Ops on three separate days

Vyron is one of the multiple Operators you can play as in Delta Force: Hawk Ops, although he's not unlocked when you first start playing - at least in the closed beta test.

It's not immediately obvious how you can get your hands on him, but thankfully, the method to unlocking this Operator is more simple than it seems. It might just take you a couple of days to do it...

How to unlock Vyron

To unlock Vyron in Delta Force, you'll need to complete stage three of the Recruit Check-in event. This is done by logging into the game on three separate days.

You don't have to play each day consecutively (there can be gaps between your play sessions), but playing three days in a row will be the quickest way to unlock the Operator.

Recruit Check In Delta Force Hawk Ops

You can see your event progress by clicking on the 'Events' button on the bar at the bottom of your screen. Don't worry if you missed this, it took me a while to realise there were any control buttons down there too. You can also press F6 as a shortcut key to this page.

Here, you can see all of the tier rewards you get for logging in each day. So far, these are the rewards you get at each tier, maxing out at Tier 7:

  • Tier 1: Advanced Safebox 3-day pass
  • Tier 2: Premium Weapon EXP Coins
  • Tier 3: Operator Vyron
  • Tier 4: Standard Issue Gear Ticket
  • Tier 5: Premium Weapon EXP Coins
  • Tier 6: Elite Standard Gear Coupon
  • Tier 7: K416 - Carbon Fibre

Vyron abilities

Vyron is certainly worth unlocking, as he has some decent abilities that should prove useful on the battlefield.

Ability Description
QLL32 Crouching Tiger Fires a compressed air round that knocks down nearby enemies on impact
Dynamic Propulsion Activates the Dynamic Auxiliary Device to advance in the designated direction. Knocking down an enemy reduces its cooldown.
Magnetic Bomb Throws a high-explosive bomb that sticks to hard surfaces and detonates after a countdown.
Dynamic Auxiliary System Briefly increases system power when using a gadget or falling from a height, reducing fall damage and boosting movement speed.

Overall, he should suit a relatively aggressive playstyle, with the ability to dodge enemy fire when needed and pack an explosive punch. I've not unlocked him just yet, but I'm looking forward to testing the usefulness of his utility.
