Destiny 2 Bountiful Wells is an incredibly useful mod for elemental well builds. Destiny 2 mods have all sorts of effects, but elemental well mods are all about the benefits of using elemental wells. The Bountiful Wells mod is an amazing addition for any elemental well build. Here is everything you need to know about Destiny 2 Bountiful Wells.

Destiny 2 Bountiful Wells: What It Does

Applying the mod to a helmet

The Bountiful Wells mod is very straightforward. With Bountiful Wells equipped, having multiple copies of other well mods will then stack, granting additional wells. To break that down, let's say you use a mod like Melee Wellmaker. This makes it so that every time you kill an enemy with a melee ability, that enemy drops an elemental well. Typically, having more than one of these mods is completely redundant, only one mod is necessary.

However, if you also have Bountiful Wells equipped, your melee kills will drop two elemental wells. If you equip a second Melee Wellmaker mod on another piece of armour, you will get three elemental wells from each enemy. This process seems to max out at four wells from a single enemy, so no need to go overboard on stacking mods. Still, even two or three wells from a single enemy is huge, and an incredible way to make some powerful ability-focused builds.

Purchasing the mod from Ada-1

Acquiring mods in Destiny 2 is not an exact science. Plenty of mods drop from either activities or from dismantling gear. However, a lot of the most important mods are from activities that no longer exist and are unavailable. For those mods, we need to turn to Ada-1.

Every day, Ada-1 has a stock of four mods that can be purchased. They cost 10,000 Glimmer each, but bear in mind that armour mods are not consumable. When you get them once, you never need any more. Ada-1's stock refreshes daily, which is important because she sells mods pretty much at random. Some days she has extremely important mods, other days not so much. To be honest, it is a good idea to visit Ada-1 at least once a day when you happen to be in the Tower, as any mod she has that you don't is likely a worthwhile investment.

At the time of writing, Ada-1 currently has the Bountiful Wells mod in stock, but that will change. Her stock is in constant rotation, so check back constantly. When Ada-1 has an important mod in stock, players tend to talk about it online, so keep an ear out. Otherwise, it is good practice to simply buy up any mods you don't already own.

That is it for the Destiny 2 Bountiful Wells mod. For more on the game, why not check out our dive into the new location coming with Lightfall, in our Destiny 2 Neomuna guide.
