Quick Charge is a Charged With Light mod in Destiny 2, making it part of a particular set of interconnected armour mods.
How to get Quick Charge
If you are currently thinking about changing up your mods or trying a new build, your timing could not be better, as in anticipation of the Lightfall release date coming soon, Bungie has made all armour mods available to everyone. Previously, you needed to go to Ada-1 in the Tower to purchase mods from her.
From January 11th, any mods you want are easily attainable. You need only equip mods like you normally would, and all previously unpurchased will appear in your mod list.
How to use Quick Charge
As mentioned, Quick Charge is a Charge With Light mod. While most armour mods are universal and work on their own, there are also mods that are part of sets.
These sets include Warmind Cell mods, Elemental Well mods, and Charged With Light mods. Quick Charge is part of the Charged With Light set, used to increase your Charged With Light stacks.
The mod's description says "Become Charged With Light by rapidly defeating multiple combatants with Fusion Rifles or Shotguns." Charged With Light applies in stacks, which are used up by the effects of other mods.
For example, the Heal Thyself mod heals you when you get a grenade kill, but consumes one stack of Charged With Light.
As such, you will need mods like Quick Charge to get stacks first. There are multiple mods that can help you do this, so a mod like Quick Charge is great for a build that includes Shotguns or Fusion Rifles.
