Destiny 2 Yuna is a character many would not be familiar with, but is an interesting addition to the game. Destiny 2 has an eclectic cast of characters that fans have latched on to, but Yuna is a bit different. This character does not even appear in the game for the majority of players. Here is everything you need to know about Destiny 2 Yuna.
Who Is Yuna?
First and foremost, Yuna is a vendor that operates out of the Tower. She sells exotic items, and her inventory rotates through a variety of weapons and armour. She has a stall in the Bazaar section of the Tower, located between Ikora and Hawthorne. Luna represents a group known as the Mugunghwa Legion, and based on her outfit it appears she also works for Eververse.
That is basically everything there is to know about Luna, she doesn't have much of a character and for a fairly good reason.
If you are reading this and you are in any way familiar with Destiny 2, you might be thinking that there is no vendor in the Bazaar called Luna. In a way, you are right. For the vast majority of Destiny 2 players, Luna does not exist. However, if you play Destiny 2 in South Korea, she will appear.
Yuna is not the only mysterious character in the game, for more check out who is Rat in Destiny 2.
South Korea And IGRs
Luna is a vendor exclusive to players on Asian servers, specifically South Koreans. You can even use a VPN to see her there, if you set your location to South Korea. However, even if you do that, she will have nothing for you. The only way to buy exotics from Luna is to be an IGR benefactor. An IGR is an Internet Gaming Room, essentially a gaming internet cafe. These are quite common in South Korea, establishments known as PC bang where many people go to use the computers and play online games.
If you play Destiny 2 from such a place, you will be recognised as an IGR benefactor, and you will be able to purchase exotic gear from Luna. She exists largely to provide new or casual players trying Destiny 2 from an internet cafe with some exotics to try out.
