How Long To Beat
Upgrading your Healing Potions in Diablo 4 is critical to progress on the higher World Tiers. Healing Potions are how you rejuvenate your Life in Diablo 4 and evade death. This primer will show you everything about upgrading Healing Potions in the game and how to gain additional Healing Potion charges.
How do you upgrade Healing Potions?
The first opportunity to upgrade your Healing Potions in Diablo 4 comes at Level 10. When you ding Level 10, you will get a Priority Quest to speak with Veroka, an alchemist in Kyovashad, the capital of the Fractured Peaks. Visit Veroka to increase the potency of your Healing Potion - for a cost.
Every ten or so levels, you can revisit Veroka to further upgrade your Healing Potions. Each upgrade boosts the amount of Life the Healing Potion restores upon use. However, the greater the upgrade, the more materials Veroka will need to fulfill your order.
Below is a chart containing all the Healing Potion upgrades in Diablo 4 and their associated material cost:
Healing Potion | Healing Potion Effect | Material Cost |
Weak Healing Potion (Level 1) | Heals 18 Life instantly and 35% Life over 3 seconds. | N/A |
Tiny Healing Potion (Level 10) | Heals 48 Life instantly and 35% Life over 3 seconds. |

How to gain additional Healing Potion charges
While you begin the game with a mere four Healing Potion charges, it is possible to obtain a total of ten Healing Potion charges. To add to your charges, you must earn Renown across Sanctuary. Discovering new areas and completing side quests and dungeons are a few of the ways you can bolster your Renown in Diablo 4.
After racking up Renown, open the in-game map and navigate to the Region Progress window to claim your Healing Potion charges and other Renown-related rewards.
Healing Potions can be the difference between life and death in Diablo 4. Make sure to upgrade them whenever possible and collect charges to stay stocked!
