How Long To Beat
Ingolith is a vital resource in the Masterworks system of Diablo 4, enabling you to level up gear through the higher ranks at a Blacksmith. This means if you want to get the best gear possible, you'll need plenty of Ingolith in your inventory. Here are the best ways to get hold of some.
How to get Ingolith
There are three main ways of acquiring Ingolith in Diablo 4: The Pit of Artificer, the Alchemist, and Infernal Hordes.
For the first one, you'll want to head over to the pit's entrance in the Cerrigar region of Scosglen. I've marked it on the map below so you know exactly where to go.
The Pit of Artificers is made up of 60+ levels that take several minutes each to complete. You can only earn Ingolith between levels 30-60. The number of Ingolith you can receive as a reward for finishing a level here will increase as you do the higher ones.
For the second method, you'll want to find an Alchemist in any city. Interact with them and select 'Transmuation' to open the option to trade for Ingolith Caches.
Making an exchange will cost Neathiron and Gold, so only opt for this if you have plenty to spare, or you're in a rush to get Ingolith. The exchange rate is three Nearthiron for one Ingolith.
The final way involves the Infernal Hordes events. Completing Tier 5 or 6 of an Infernal Horde will grant you Spoils of Materials chests that can drop Ingolith.
You'll need to rank up your Infernal Compass' for this method to work effectively, as lower tiers have no chance of dropping the resource.
