How Long To Beat
The Diablo 4 open beta is now here, allowing players to try out the first region of the game up to level 25, while also giving Blizzard feedback they can action before the June 6 release date.
If you want to make the most of the current beta and try out as many builds and skills as possible, check out how to respec.
How do you respec?
Levelling up and choosing new skills is a cornerstone of progression in action RPGs and the Diablo franchise, with it being no different in the latest game. Luckily, the option to respec is easier than ever, letting players change up their builds and skills by spending some gold.
To respec, you will need to bring up the skill tree panel with Shift + S on the keyboard. At the bottom of this window, you will see an option that says 'Refund All', and upon clicking this, all your skills will be reset.
It's worth noting that this will also reset your ranks, which are tiers that are added to skills to increase their power.
However, Diablo 4 lets you be more granular with this feature, letting you respec individual skills too. To do this, right-click on a skill, and it will be refunded. Some skills require other skills first before they can work, so you may need to respec an entire skill tree branch in some cases.
While Diablo 4 makes the respec feature more open and easy to use than ever, after level 15, it will require increasingly more gold to respec your skills. This lets you experiment early on, but once you reach the level 15 threshold, you need to be more careful about the skills you spec into.
