Where to use the Conspicuous Book in Disney Dreamlight Valley: 'The Secret Door' quest

The Conspicuous Book in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a secret quest item needed to get the full ending of 'The Secret Door' quest and uncover a treasure hold of gemstones.

How to find the Secret Room in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Riddle answered
The Secret Door quest is given to the player upon reaching friendship level 10 with Mickey. The easiest way to unlock the quest and achieve friendship is by giving Mickey his three favourite gifts of the day and asking him to hang out.
During the quest, Mickey will ask you to open his secret magic chest. Within is a picture of a mysterious secret door, with which Mickey has a faint memory and the accompanying riddle:
"Turrets and towers you will behold. Within: a door for things new and old"
The clue suggests that the secret room is located within the Dream Castle. When you enter the Dream Castle, turn right at the entrance. Past the plants, there will be a purple curtain to interact with.
Interact with the curtain to reveal the same door from the memory photo (press the E key if on PC). This time the door has missing slots.
How to unlock the Secret Room in Disney Dreamlight Valley: All gemstones
Mickey will now remember the rest of the riddle. This is "It needs no key you've ever known. To open this door, find matching stones".
Essentially, you need to collect the four matching gemstones from the memory photograph to the door. These are:
- Aquamarine - can be mined from ore deposits on Dazzle Beach and in the Forest of Valor biomes.
- Tourmaline - can be mined from ore deposits in the Frosted Heights and Sunlit Plateau biomes.
- Garnet – can be mined from ore deposits in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow.
- Citrine - can be mined from ore deposits in the Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau.
Once you have collected one of each gemstone above, return to the Secret Door and put them inside the crest.

The Secret Room quest rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Inside the Secret door is a horde of Mickey's belongings which he stowed away for safekeeping during the forgetting.
There is a curious book called the Conspicuous Book which you can retrieve from the top left corner of the room.
You can also help yourself to any of the chests in the room, which will contain an assortment of seeds, flowers, and some Purified Night Shards.
Speak with Mickey to complete the quest and receive the Mickey Enchanting Statue as a reward. You can place this statue anywhere outside by accessing your furniture inventory. You can also purchase more from Scrooge McDuck.
How to use the Conspicuous Book in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Conspicuous Book, when highlighted in the inventory, reads as "A book that...hums? curious."
Once you have retrieved it from the floor next to the chest in the top left corner of the room, place it on the nearby bookshelf (the large bookshelf in the centre of the back wall) there will be an 'interact' prompt when you're standing close to it.
Once inside the bookshelf, it will swing forward to reveal yet another secret door, this time filled with a Crafting Station and three more chests. The chests contain gemstones which are free to take.
