How to place and move player homes
Once you have a collection of house skins in your inventory, you can place them by following these steps:
- Travel to the biome you wish to place the house in.
- Open your inventory.
- Click 'Furniture' on the left-side tab.
- Select the 'House' icon.
- This will bring up a list of your available house skins. Select the one you wish to place.
- Now, place it in the biome of your choice. This process is free to do, but you cannot intersect the house with terrain or other objects.
Once you have placed the house, it will be empty inside and you'll be free to decorate to your heart's content. You'll notice that the house will be upgraded to the same level as your main one. What's more, these houses are not connected, so any changes you make will not impact your main house.
How to get more player homes
You can get more player house skins in Disney Dreamlight Valley's Item Shop in return for Moonstones. These skins vary in theme - and you can even get a mini replica of The Dream Castle!
One of the creative things about Disney Dreamlight Valley is that you can decorate these homes within the valley, and whilst furnishing the interior of your home is important, the outside appearance of your home can also make a statement with the use of these additional house skins.
The Item Shop regularly updates and rotates items, so be careful how you spend your precious Moonstones and keep an eye out for your favourite home.
