Sake Maki ingredients

To make Sake Maki in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll need the following ingredients as well as the usual piece of coal to light the cooker:

  • Rice – This can be bought from Goofy's Stall in the Glade of Trust upon initial repair. Rice Seeds cost 35 Star Coins each.
  • Seaweed – This can be caught at fishing spots in the Valley. Stay away from the usual blue, white and gold ripple to catch more of it.
  • Salmon – This fish can be caught in either the Frosted Heights or Sunlit Plateau biomes. Look for them within white bubble spots or receive them as a random drop from Moana's boat. Fishing spots in the Sunlit Plateau will only spawn after the pillar has been restored via the main quest.

How to use Sake Maki

Saki Maki is a three-star dish in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which will earn you on average 323 Star Coins when sold at one of Goofy's Stalls.

Alternatively, you can eat the dish and replenish 1,101 energy. Although, as it is free to replenish energy at home, we recommend traveling back to the player's house to do this.

Villagers may also randomly ask for the dish at Chez Remy or it may appear as one of three favourite gifts of the day. Giving the dish to a villager in these circumstances will net you triple the number of friendship points.

To see a villager's favorite gift of the day simply speak to them and choose the gift box dialogue option. You will then see three highlighted items underneath the character (to the bottom right of the screen), these are the favorite gifts of the day. Each character will have a different set of favorite gifts which refresh each day.
