How do you complete the Bottom of the Barrel mission?
The Bottom of the Barrel mission is a Tier 3 mission given by the Crown faction in DMZ. The objectives of this mission are:
- Trade the shopkeeper a bottle of liquor in exchange for the keycode
- Enter the code into the locked room keypad in the Alpha Cluster entrance
- Extract the researched documents from the room
How to find a liquor bottle and trade it with the Shopkeeper
The first thing you need to do is to find a liquor bottle in the game. Liquor bottles are generally easy to find in DMZ in fridges, restaurants, or houses around Al-Mazrah. When you've found a bottle go to the Koschei Complex and enter the Chemical Plant after unlocking its blast door using a car battery and jumper cables.
Click to enlargeThen, equip your Night Goggles and search for the Factory Admin Key inside the vents.
Click to enlargeWhen you've found one, head towards the west section of the plant, where you'll find the A/1 blast door already opened. Enter, and you'll find another small door. Use the Factory Admin Key on the door to gain access to the Factory Admin area.
The Shopkeeper is located on the east side of that area. Follow the red arrows until you find the red sign, 'Shop', and you'll find the Shopkeeper. Trade the liquor bottle in the dead drop for the code of the locked room.
How to use the locked room code and find the documents in Koschei Complex
After finding the code, head to the southern end of the Chemical Plant, towards the Alpha Cluster. You'll stumble upon the C/1 door there, which you'll have to unlock using a car battery and jumper cables.
The locked room is located just left after opening the C/1 door. Enter the code, and you'll find the ''Russian Gas Research Documents''. Take the documents and extract them from Koschei to complete the mission.
