The Modern Warfare 2 DMZ has been a success since it launched in late 2022, with plenty of players jumping into the extraction shooter to try a more hardcore version of the COD experience.

With new missions being added during every season, you may want to finish off the rest before Season 3 drops later in April. So, check out our guide for the Caved In mission on MW2 DMZ

How to complete 'Caved In'

The Caved In mission is a tier four White Lotus faction mission that comes with three objectives:

  • Locate the Smuggling Records and exfiltrate with them.
  • Dock a boat in Sattiq Caves.
  • Find the Sensitive Documents and replace them with the Smuggling Records.

For the first part of the mission, you will just need to explore and play the game. The Smuggling Records aren't located in any one place, so you will need to deploy and scavenge until you find them.

You can make this section easier by exploring office buildings and police stations, as they have a higher chance of spawning here. After you locate the records, you can exfiltrate with them.

For the second part of Caved In, you need to get into the Sattiq Caved by the riverside. You can find the caves by taking a boat up the river from Sai'id City, and once you find the entrance to the cave complex, just pull in. Keep traveling deep into the caves until the objective is ticked off.

For the final part, you will need to locate an area in the cave next to some light fixtures. Near here, there will be a hut with the Sensitive Documents located inside. Pick these up and then place the Smuggling Records in the nearby Dead Drop. This will tick off the final objective and complete the Caved In mission.

Just exfiltrate and grab your rewards from the mission screen afterward.
