The DMZ mode has a lot of missions and other activities for players to dive into. One of the missions they can undertake is the Fuel Shortage mission for the White Lotus faction. So, keep on reading our rundown of the Fuel Shortage mission in the game.

How do you complete the Fuel Shortage mission?

The Fuel Shortage mission is a Tier 1 mission for the White Lotus faction. The objectives of this mission are:

  • Siphon the gas from one vehicle on Ashika Island
  • Use one gas can in a vehicle to refuel

So, keep on reading below on how to complete each of the objectives of this mission.

How to find a gas can on Ashika Island

DMZ Gas Station Location

The first thing you need to do is to find a gas can on Ashika Island. Since the map is small it won't be hard to find gas cans as they are located in gas stations around the map. Simply go to any one of the gas stations and you will find a gas can in the area.

DMZ Gas Can

After finding a gas can, stow it into your backpack and move on to the next step.

How to siphon gas from a vehicle and refuel it

DMZ Siphon Gas

The next steps require you to siphon gas from a vehicle and refuel it with a gas can as well. So, naturally, you need to be in a vehicle, be it a car or boat. After you've found one you will have to siphon the gas from it. In order to siphon gas from a vehicle, the gas can has to be less than 100 percent.

So, keep on driving the vehicle and you'll have used some of its gas. Now, you'll need to open your backpack, select the gas can, and press R/R3/RS. This will refuel the vehicle and complete one objective of the mission.

After refueling it, the gas can be less than 100 percent, so now press R/R3/RS again and it will siphon the gas from the vehicle. With that, the remaining objective will be done and the mission will be completed.
