How do you complete the Go For A Drive mission?
The Go For A Drive mission is the Tier 3 story mission for the Phalanx faction. The objectives of this mission are:
- Acquire an encrypted hard drive
- Drive a chop top in Vondel for 2 consecutive minutes while carrying the encrypted hard drive
- Deliver the hard drive to the dead drop at the Zoo
So, keep on reading below on how to complete each objective of this mission.
How to get an encrypted hard drive in DMZ
The first thing you need to do for the mission is to acquire an encrypted hard drive. These are extremely rare items you can find in DMZ. You can find them in places like supply drops or caches. The best place you can find these are in Strongholds. When you find one, stow it in your backpack.
How to find a chop top in Vondel and drive it
The next objective requires you to drive a chop top around Vondel for two consecutive minutes while carrying the encrypted hard drive. The chop tops are topless SUVs driven by the Shadow Company soldiers in Vondel. So, the best way to spawn them is to attack enemy patrols or raid Strongholds. Once you've found a Chop Top, drive it around for two minutes consecutively, and the objective will be completed.
How to find the Vondel Zoo Dead Drop
The final objective is to find and deposit the hard drive at the Vondel Zoo Dead Drop. The dead drop is located at D7 of the map. It is beside a ladder and a building door with the 'Employees Only' label on it.
Once you've found it, deposit the encrypted hard drive, and the mission will be completed.
