How to complete Researcher’s Dilemma in DMZ

Researcher’s Dilemma is a Tier 3 DMZ mission for the Black Mous faction, which involves finding and swapping two notes related to the Vondel gas research in the Vondel exclusion zone.
However, the exact location of the notes is not marked on the map, which is why some players will have a hard time completing the objectives. With that said, here’s a comprehensive guide to completing Researcher’s Dilemma in DMZ.
How do you complete the Researcher’s Dilemma mission?
Find the researcher’s note in the Vondel Zoo Veterinary Office
The first step of the mission is to find the researcher’s note in the Vondel Zoo Veterinary Office. This is the building on the southwest corner of the Vondel Zoo, located in the south of the DMZ map. However, you can’t just walk in and grab the note.
You need either the skeleton or vet key to unlock the door to the Veterinary Lab, where the note is located. The keys can drop from high-value enemies, so you may need to hunt them down first.
Once you have a key, go to the right-side entrance of the Veterinary Office and use it to open the door to the lab. Inside, you will see a long desk with several fridges and computers. The note is on the desk at the far end of the room. It’s labelled as Vondel Gas Researcher Notes. Loot it and get ready for the next step.
Place it on the church’s second floor near the Castle
The second step of the mission is to place the researcher’s note on the church’s second floor near the Castle. The Castle is a named point of interest on the northwest side of Vondel, and the church is just south of it. You can find it by looking for a large cross on top of a building. The church is also where the Castle Buy Station is often located so you can use that as a reference.
Once you are at the church, look inside for a ladder leading to the second floor. Climb up, and you will see a lantern and another set of notes on the floor to your left. You need to swap these false notes with the researcher’s note. Before you do that, make sure to loot them first. They are labeled as False Vondel Gas Research Notes. Then, put the researcher’s note in their place.
Take the false notes from the church to the veterinary office
The final step of the mission is to take the false notes from the church to the veterinary office and place them where you found the researcher’s note. This means you have to return to the same office in the Vondel Zoo and use your key again to access the lab. Then, put the false notes on the same desk where you got the researcher’s note.
Once you do that, you will complete the mission and earn your rewards. You will get an Aquarium Key, which unlocks a secret room in another mission, +10000 XP, and Reputation points for your faction.
