Above are the two maps that you explore in the game, and we have numbered each safe location on them.

Dying Light 2 Safe Combinations And Locations 1

The very first safe you will be likely to find is positioned in the Nightrunner's Hideout just north of Cherry Windmill, in the Houndfield region.

The building looks like a clock tower, and on the ground floor, there is a gap in the wall that leads to a safe zone. Inside there, on a counter is a safe, and the combination can be found inside the building too. The combination is 101, and inside you can find an Inhibitor.

This next safe is also located in Houndfield, in an office inside the Saint Joseph Hospital. At a nearby trading post, there is a character that will give you the quest called The First Biomarker and a note that gives hints to open the safe.

The quest will direct you toward the safe, but you will have to figure out the combination, which is 973.

Dying Light 2 Safe Combinations And Locations 3

Our next Dying Light 2 safe location and code is in the Downtown area, which can be accessed after traveling to the Central Loop. Next to the Downtown Thugs bandit camp is a large building with a Military Airdrop on top.

If you climb up to where you overlook the bandit camp, you should see a yellow winch and a nearby window with yellow poles. Inside that room is the safe, and the combination can be found on a table by climbing into a higher room. The code is 313, and you will earn an Inhibitor.

Dying Light 2 Safe Combinations And Locations 4

During the quest called The Deserter, you are tasked with finding a map for the Peacekeepers which points towards a stash of weapons. During the Dying Light 2 The Deserter quest, if you choose the option to keep the map at the end, it will begin another quest called Treasure Hunt.

It requires you to figure out a cypher that provides the location and combination and eventually points you to the basement of the Muddy Grounds water tower. The combination is 032167, and you will earn some powerful grenades and C4.

Dying Light 2 Safe Combinations And Locations 5

There is another safe located in the Garrison Electrical Station, and you can there independently, or as part of the Broadcast quest, where you will be tasked with turning it back on. Inside the building, there is a closed-off area called section C, that requires power to open.

If you connect a wire to the door to open it, inside, on top of a console, is the next safe. The paper with the code is in a box on the floor next to it, and it asks for an approximation of pi. This means 314 is the code, and you will earn an Inhibitor for opening it.

Dying Light 2 Safe Combinations And Locations 6

There is another safe located back in Old Villedor that can be opened during the Moonshine quest. To get this, earlier in the game, when doing the Water Tower quest, you need to side with Jack and Joe to help them escape.

Later on in the game, you can find that they have been arrested in the Main Terminal Station in Quarry End. Talk to them to start the Moonshine quest, and it directs you to a locked door at the Horseshoe Water Tower. Inside is the safe, which can be opened with the date that America was discovered, which is 1492.

Dying Light 2 Safe Locations and Codes 7

This safe can be located in the belfry of the church in which the Bazaar settlement is located, but you will have to do some climbing - and maths. If you pull yourself up on the stalls located near the front of the church, you can start climbing up and follow the path around the building. Eventually, you will come to a boarded window (pictured above) which can be crouched underneath. Keep climbing, and you will find yourself in the room with the safe.

The right side of the room is where the locker is, and the hints for the code can be found near a yellow backpack on the left side. Next to the backpack is a poster, with the code tucked behind. If you don't want to figure out the code yourself, it is 510. Inside the safe is one of the tape collectibles.

Dying Light 2 Safe Locations and Codes 8

On the western side of the Newfound Lost Lands, there is a series of buildings and a road that hugs a fence that separates the sunken city from the rest of Villedor. Just off that road is a one-story shop with broken windows that houses the eighth safe.

Make your way inside and behind the counter, you can find the note which gives you the hint for the safe code. Also behind the counter, is a door that leads to a back room where the safe is. The code is 451, which is a direct reference to the novel Farenheit 451, and inside you can find some grenades along with one of the duck collectibles.

That's all for our Dying Light 2 safe locations and codes guide, and we'll make sure to update this if we find any more across the game.
