While you won't always need to know who the cheapest 88 rated players are in EA FC 24, having a list handy with the correct prices will save you a lot of money and time in-game.
Only the most expensive SBCs will require you to have a full 88 rated squad, but EA does like to sneak in a few high minimum rating requirements into lower-rated squads that can catch players out.

How much does an 88 rated squad cost in EA FC 24?
Right now you'll have to spend just over of 150,000 coins to build an 88 rated squad, which is quite a significant amount and can really make a dent in your coin total.
I've always tried to save high-rated untradeable cards around the 90 rating for super high-rated SBCs, as they really help keep the overall price down and allow me to opt for cheaper cards to fill in the gaps.
