When you’re playing online, especially in Ultimate Team, a lot of people you play against are going to celebrate a fair bit when they score. Traditionally, there are normally quite a few goals as well, so get used to seeing the Griddy.
You don’t have to celebrate in EA FC 24 though - not if you don’t want to. Sometimes, you just want to crack on with the game, as you may be coming back from behind and want to act on momentum. In these moments, every second counts.
So, here is how to skip your celebration in EA FC 24, as well as if you can skip your opponents.
How to skip celebrations in EA FC 24
After you score a goal in EA FC 24, your player will wheel away in jubilation ready to celebrate their achievements. The animation can take a while depending on the celebration, with some of them taking ages. Here is how to skip celebrating altogether:
- After scoring, the moment your player races off to celebrate press L1+ R1 / LB + RB to skip

Can you skip opposition celebrations in EA FC 24?
Unfortunately, no, you can’t really skip your opponent's celebrations in EA FC 24. However, if you’re at risk of losing your rag during excessive celebrations, you can take the sting out of it by changing your camera focus during celebrations.
Here is how you can switch the camera focus during celebrations, so instead of seeing their players whooping, you can just see yours looking sad.
- Go to ‘Settings’ in Ultimate Team
- Go to ‘Visual Settings’
- From here, you can change the 'Celebration Camera Focus' to 'User Controlled Team'
- All that is left is to exit and you're good to go
