The introduction of Icons into EA FC 25's Career Mode has certainly drawn a lot of attention, and there are a handful of legacy players exclusive to those who pre-order the game.
Find out all of the pre-order Icon players that you'll be able to use right here, alongside some additional details regarding their potential expiry date.
Who are the pre-order Career Mode Icons?
- David Beckham (England)
- Zinedine Zidane (France)
- Ronaldo Nazário (Brazil)
While there will be more than the three listed above available at launch, the iconic trio are exclusive to those who pre-order EA FC 25. You'll get them regardless of whether you pre-order the Standard or Ultimate Edition of the game, so don't worry about going for any exclusive edition.
If you're unaware, these Icons will give you the chance to dive into their career at its peak or start from more humble beginnings to tell your own story. As three of the sport's biggest-ever names, it's no surprise that EA has decided to opt for these particular juggernauts of the 90s and 2000s.
I've definitely got my eyes on Zidane personally, as he was one of my favourite players to watch growing up and defined for many the galácticos era of Real Madrid alongside Ronaldo. Who knows, we might even be able to replay the 2006 World Cup final and resist the temptation of a headbutt!
Will the pre-order Icons expire?
In an interview with GGRecon, EA Sports Line Producer Andreas Wilsdorf revealed that all three of the pre-order exclusive Icons for Career Mode will never expire or be rotated out, stating that "Some of them will leave, [but] basically the pre-orders will never leave. So if you pre-order the game, they will always stay with you."
This is fantastic news as while the standard selection will be constantly shifted to give players new options, you'll never not be able to dive into another journey with Zidane, Ronaldo, or Beckham.
