It can be tough to pick your Evolution players correctly in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, especially as they've opened up the requirements, but you can use the lists below to see our picks for the best options.
Glow Up
- Pedro Lima (Wolves)
- Archie Gray (Spurs)
- Marc Casadó (Barcelona)
- Axel Tuanzebe (Ipswich)
- Tajon Buchanan (Inter)
- Nicole Payne (Portland Thorns) + Club Member Reward
- Marcelo Weigandt (Inter)
- Andy Pelmard (Lecce)
Expires: October 26, 2024
This is one of the strongest Evolutions that we've had so far, and you can create some monstrous cards if you've got the right players.
There are a number of great options from across the world's top leagues - including an Argentina/Inter Miami strong link to Messi in Weigandt if you want to squeeze the magician into your squad.
However, my pick is definitely Spurs' Archie Gray, as he looks incredibly strong on paper and could easily become one of the strongest all-around midfielders in the Premier League. The only challenge here then is being able to actually buy him - as he's currently extinct on the market!
Power Surge
- Joe Gomez (Liverpool)
- Endrick (Real Madrid) + Intro to Stat Limits + Ultimate Edition Evolution
- Jérémy Doku (Manchester City)
- Jurriën Timber (Arsenal)
- Mykhailo Mudryk (Chelsea)
Expires: October 25, 2024
This isn't the strongest Evolution overall and is simply meant to boost players that aren't too good to begin with. Out of the options above I'd go for Joe Gomez - especially if you can't be bothered to do some of the longer chains listed below.
Otherwise, I'd opt for a lower-rated card from your favourite team, as they'll gain a strong boost and perhaps be able to make their way into your starting lineup.
Sprint Supreme
- Raphaël Varane (Como)
- Ibrahima Konaté (Liverpool)
- Cristian Romero (Spurs)
- Emre Can (Borussia Dortmund)
- Benjamin Pavard (Inter)
- Ingrid Engen (Barcelona)
- Joe Gomez (Liverpool) + Intro to Stat Limits + Club Member Reward
- José María Giménez (Atletico Madrid)
Expires: October 22, 2024
It's understandable that players would instinctively pick the fastest players for an Evolution that boosts your CB's pace, but you'll need to understand the stat limits.
This Evo only boosts Acceleration and Sprint Speed, and only up to 78. Therefore, while it might seem great to go for someone like Gvardiol, he won't actually receive a single boost in stats.
Out of the options above, I'd definitely recommend going for Konaté, Romero, or Gomez - with the latter proving great for those who want to max their Evos through stacking.
Konaté is a particularly excellent option due to his low base Acceleration, as while his Sprint Speed doesn't change, his Acceleration is boosted by 9 points.
The Octopus
- Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool) + Box-to-Box
- Kpéphren Thuram (Juventus) + Intro to Stat Limits
- Yves Bissouma (Spurs)
- Danilo Cataldi (Fiorentina) + Intro to Stat Limits + Box-to-Box
- Sam Coffey (Portland Thorns)
Expires: October 20, 2024
Cost: 750 FP / 50,000 Coins
As this is the first paid Evolution you'll want to make sure you're getting the most for your money, hence the smaller number of options. Most of these combine with other Evos too - two in the case of Cataldi - which really maximises the boosts you're getting.
My personal pick is Gravenberch, and that's not just because I'm a Liverpool fan, as he looks like one of the best midfielders in the game - especially as a Holding CDM with the new Player Role ++.
Box-to-Box
- Kobbie Mainoo (Manchester United) + The Octopus
- Joelinton (Newcastle United)
- Renato Sanches (Benfica) + The Octopus
- Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool) + Intro to Stat Limits
- Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Milan)
- Sergi Darder (RCD Mallorca)
- Warren Zaïre-Emery (PSG) + Intro to Stat Limits
- Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool)
Expires: October 19, 2024
This is the first Evo that you'll be able to properly combine with others, and we can see the strength of some of these combos really pulling through. My personal pick of the straight Evolutions is Joelinton (if you can snipe him on the market), but for a combo you can't go wrong with Mainoo or Szoboszlai either.
Intro to Stat Limits
- Savinho (Manchester City)
- Naomie Feller (Real Madrid)
- Athenea (Real Madrid)
- Melvine Malard (Manchester United)
- Darwin Núñez (Liverpool)
- Michael Olise (Bayern Munich)
- Mohammed Kudus (West Ham)
- Brian Mbeumo (Brentford)
- Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United)
- João Félix (Chelsea)
- Ferran Torres (Barcelona)
- Tijjani Reijnders (Milan)
- Randal Kolo Muani (PSG)
Expires: September 30, 2025
There are a number of great Evolutions that you can create here, and the nature of the requirements gives you plenty of flexibility. This is a fantastic choice if you're running a Premier League squad too, as many of the more affordable options up top can be made even stronger.
Club Member Reward
- Antônia Silva (Real Madrid)
- Maya Le Tissier (Manchester United)
- Reece James (Chelsea)
- Ève Périsset (Chelsea)
- Noussair Mazraoui (Manchester United)
- Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton)
- Diogo Dalot (Manchester United)
- Denzel Dumfries (Inter)
- Nahuel Molina (Atletico Madrid)
- Giovanni Di Lorenzo (Napoli)
- Malo Gusto (Chelsea)
Expires: September 30, 2025
While Right Backs aren't the most exciting position on the pitch, you can create some really strong options here. While some might want to boost their Centre Backs, I'd recommend going for a fullback if possible as the PlayStyle and Player Role bonuses benefit the wider defenders significantly.
Ultimate Edition Evolution
- Darwin Núñez (Liverpool)
- Geyse (Manchester United)
- Ademola Lookman (Atalanta)
- Richarlison (Spurs)
- Iñaki Williams (Athletic Club)
- Ángel Correa (Atletico Madrid)
- Serge Gnabry (Bayern Munich)
- Naomie Feller (Real Madrid)
- Ferran Torres (Barcelona)
- Endrick (Real Madrid)
Expires: September 30, 2025
The Ultimate Edition Evolution is a stronger version of the Stat Limits one, giving much greater boosts alongside a number of key PlayStyles too. As the name suggests though it is limited to players who have purchased the Ultimate Edition - but definitely make sure to take advantage if you've got it.
