A new pack animation is added every single year in Ultimate Team, and EA FC 25 has players wondering once again how to spot a walkout in their packs. Find out exactly what you should be looking for in the animation below.

How to tell if you've got a walkout

The only tell that you've got a walkout in your packs is if two vertical gold lines appear behind the player just after they appear in the tunnel.

These lines will pop up after the gold lines on the floor reach the back of the tunnel, so if nothing appears you unfortunately haven't got a walkout this time. You can also somewhat guess based on the league, nation, and club, and the silhouette of the player this year also gives a clue towards their identity if you've got keen eyes.

What is a walkout in Ultimate Team?

Walkouts are classified as cards rated 86 and above, as when you get one in your pack the players themselves will 'walk out' at the end of the animation and often do a dance.

Walkouts are always the highest-rated card in your pack, but you can also get a double walkout if you have two cards with a rating higher than 86, and for that, it'll transition from the first to the second player after the first has walked out.

Walkouts, especially in the early stages of the game, are really quite rare and are also often among the best and most expensive cards in the game. Having a high rating doesn't always equate to a card's quality though, and there are still some incredibly valuable players under the walkout threshold.
