While Burning Rubber might seem like an easy quest in theory, locating the right spot on Escape from Tarkov's Ground Zero can prove to be quite challenging. Thankfully I've laid out everything you need to do in this walkthrough, so follow along with the steps to get the task done.

How to complete Burning Rubber

There is only one subtask needed for Skier's Burning Rubber task, requiring you to successfully use the paid vehicle extraction on Ground Zero.

The best part about this quest is that you can easily stack it with any of the other introductory Ground Zero tasks, as you'll need an extract after all! It does, of course, depend on the extract itself being available though, as it's single-use per raid and will be popular at the start of a new wipe.

Where is the paid vehicle extraction?

You'll find the paid vehicle extraction - otherwise known as the 'Police Cordon V-Ex' - down a side road in the middle of the map, in the intersection between the Terragroup building and the Empire building.

The extract itself is a large black car with its engine running and its lights on. It's found at the end of the road by the roadblock, and if there's no car there unfortunately the extract has already been used by another player.

You'll also need to make sure that you've got at least 5,000₽ on your PMC in order to use this extract, as the driver needs to be paid after all! While you can find money in-raid, you're best off bringing the 5k in from your stash. You can keep it in your secure container too if you're worried about dying before reaching the extract.

Finally, the extract itself takes a minute to tick down once you hand over the money. You can leave the extract zone before the timer expires if you want to hide or need to take cover from enemy fire. However, the car will leave once the timer reaches zero regardless of whether you're there or not, so make sure that you're back with at least 5 seconds to go.

If you do decide to wait out the minute by the car though, make sure that you're never just stood still. You're in an extremely open and exposed area, and there is a high chance of other PMCs looking onto this position. Try and stay behind cover as much as you can, and keep moving to make yourself a difficult target to hit.
