With the Factory rework in Escape from Tarkov's patch 0.15, it's only natural that your exploration is paired with a couple of new tricky quests, with 'Exit Here' being one of them.

Although simple in premise, making your way around a new environment can easily lead to your death, as you try to map your way around an area filled with chaos. That's why this walkthrough is perfect, as you'll be able to find your way to the main extract with ease and get the quest done in no time.

How to complete Exit Here

  • Survive and extract from Factory through the main exit

As always, I don't blame you for having no clue what to do when faced with this quest, as 'main exit' doesn't give any real indication of where to head.

With the new map expansion things have only become more complicated, but you'll be somewhat glad to know that this main exit is in the new area!

Escape From Tarkov Run Through

One key aspect of this quest is the 'survive and extract' part, as that indicates that you'll need to avoid a Run Through. To do this, you'll need to either earn enough XP through looting or eliminations or wait until at least 7 minutes of the raid have expired (13 minutes in Daytime, 18 minutes at Night.)

Factory main exit location

The main exit extract on Factory is located in the new outside section of the map, by the truck parked between the open gates.

Escape From Tarkov Exit Here Main Exit

There are a couple of different ways that you can get out here though, so make sure to see all of your options below:

Office ground floor

The office area, located between Gate 3 and Gate 0, is where you'll be able to head outside into the back section of the map, and the first way out is found on the ground floor.

Escape From Tarkov Ground Floor Exit

Head into the office from either side and continue along until you see a window by a bookcase - importantly it's the one without a wooden board over it. This is on the 'Gate 0' side of the building, so if you're heading from Gate 3 you'll need to walk all the way across.

All you need to do now is walk up to this window and use your vault command to pass through. You won't be able to jump through manually, as you won't be able to fit.

Escape From Tarkov Ground Floor Locked Room Exit

There is also another window that you can vault through in the room on the right (Gate 3) side of the office ground floor, but this is behind a locked door that is only opened when breached from the inside. If you do find this open though then feel free to vault on through!

Office first floor

On the middle 'bathroom' floor of the office you'll find the other way out, as an open window allows you to walk through and out onto a set of metal stairs, taking you down to the exit.

Escape From Tarkov First Floor Exit

This again is on the 'Gate 0' side of the office, so you'll need to make your way across if you're coming from Gate 3. Be careful here though as you make a lot more noise walking across the tiled surfaces of this floor, revealing your position to any nearby PMCs if you're not careful.

Escape From Tarkov Main Exit Extract

Once you're outside, just walk up to the truck between the gates and the extract should start, allowing you to complete this quest and move on to The Walls Have Eyes, which we also have a dedicated walkthrough for if you're struggling to locate the cranes.
