- Don't miss these Escape From Tarkov tips to get a head start in the new wipe.
What Is The Escape From Tarkov Traders Pre Wipe Event?
The Escape From Tarkov traders pre wipe event is one of the more famous regular occurrences at the end of each wipe cycle. Where normally, each Trader would have a set price for each item that they sell, the traders pre wipe event dramatically slashes that price down to one or two roubles.
Browsing our Escape From Tarkov best guns list and got your eyes on the MDR 7.62x51 from Peacekeeper LL4? Before the traders pre wipe event it would have cost you a whopping $1788 (roughly 184,000 Roubles), but now you can pick it up for only one or two Roubles.
This reduction applies across every single cash trade item available to you, regardless of how much it was originally worth. Global and personal Trader limits are still in place, so you can’t go too mad, alongside the existing Trader level limits you currently have. A significant number of additional items have been added to the trader inventories though, so it's not like you'll be stuck with your standard choices. It completely opens up the playing field for an insane number of high value builds for only a fraction of the price, and it’s a great way to have a go at the Escape From Tarkov bosses pre wipe event if you fancy a tough challenge.
Furthermore, most cash trades that were originally Dollars or Euros have now been changed to Roubles, but if any still remain, or there is something on the Escape From Tarkov flea market you want to pick up, those currency exchanges are at a single Rouble too. Currently, the flea market is still recovering from the Escape From Tarkov barter event, so you will largely still have to rely on your Trader items for modding weapons, but that should recover soon.
The biggest downside of this event is that the traders want you to return the favour too. Everything that you sell to them will be under the same reduction action, so even a Bitcoin or Graphics Card will get you one or two Roubles in return. How this will affect the flea market prices in the remaining days will be interesting to see, as it could very easily go both ways.
Additionally, non-sale Trader actions like repairs, insurance, and Therapist healing have not been blessed by this reduction, so you’ll still have to fork out the full amount for that. At least you’ll have the money spare from the incredible savings elsewhere, so it shouldn’t make too much of a dent.

How Long Will The Escape From Tarkov Traders Pre Wipe Event Last?
There isn’t a confirmed end date for the Escape From Tarkov traders pre wipe event, but it will definitely not continue beyond the wipe date. The signs are pointing to the wipe happening on June 30, but the traders event could end even before then.
It has superseded the Escape From Tarkov barter pre wipe event, as everything is thankfully back on sale, but the Escape From Tarkov dog tags event still continues, so you can still get your hands on anything from that.
So, that wraps up everything we currently know about the Escape From Tarkov traders pre wipe event, so make sure to take advantage of it while the prices are still low.
