Is your Fall Guys voice chat not working? Fall Guys is a game of multiplayer madness, and although hearing all fifty-nine other players is an interesting prospect, it certainly isn’t a great idea. However, you might want to chat with your friends and even that might not seem possible. Here is what to do when it seems like your Fall Guys voice chat is not working.

Fall Guys Voice Chat: Party Up

Before we can concern ourselves with talking to someone, we need someone to talk to. To do that in Fall Guys, you need to open the Party menu. You will see it in the bottom left corner of your screen when on the main menu. On PC, it is as simple as clicking the icon, and on console, it is just as simply accessed by pressing the button shown, usually clicking the right stick.

From here you can invite friends to join your party. This will allow you and up to three friends to play Fall Guys together. However, you might not be able to speak to each other in-game. There is a party chat option at the bottom of the party screen, but pressing it might not do much to help. To fix this, you need to do a bit more legwork.

For some reason or another, perhaps intended as a parental control feature, voice chat does not automatically work while in a party. To get around this, head to the Settings menu. The button is in the top right on PC, or press Start/Menu/+ on console. On this screen, you will want to select the Audio menu.

You will see several headings on the list of audio options, the second of which is Party Voice Chat. Go here and you will see there is a Part Voice Chat option that is turned off. Change that to on, you will get a notification warning you that if you enable this setting, you will be able to hear others and they will be able to hear you.

Turn this option on, then return to the Party menu. Select Join Chat at the bottom of the menu in order to join the party chat and talk to your friends. From now on, you should have little issue joining up with friends and chatting as you fall to your heart’s content.

That should get your Fall Guys voice chat working. For more on the game, check out our guide on how to invite friends in Fall Guys.
